Planting Advice For Raised Beds, Plany Pots & Plant Boxes

1

Choose the right location: Consider the plant’s light & temperature needs, and position accordingly. Ensure the plant pot is on a flat & stable surface.

2

Drainage & ventilation: Fill 1/4 of the plant pot with drainage stones at least 35mm in diameter, thus ensuring proper water drainage. Keep a 1–2-centimeter space under the pot for ventilation and water drainage.

3

Waterproof gardening foil insulation: Foil insulation protects plant roots from extreme weather conditions. It protects roots against frost & helps retain moisture. It helps protect against corrosion, keeping the internal surface away from the soil & moisture, extending the lifespan of the plant pot. The foil also helps prevent staining on the external surface.

4

Select suitable soil: Select soil suitable for your plants. Excess fertilizer and water can harm potted plants, avoid overwatering soil and plant roots by keeping them moist but not soggy.

5

Limit usage of fertilizers and iron nutrients: Iron fertilizers may contain soluble iron sulfate or iron chelate. The soluble iron interacts with soil moisture & the chemical reaction may leave deposits on the plant pot surfaces.

6

Regular maintenance: Remove dead plant material & water as needed. Avoid automated watering and keep the plant away from sprinklers. Overwatering can harm pots and soil.

7

Corrosion protection (applies to all metal products): Corten and painted plant pots need protection against corrosion. Avoid mixing plant fertilizers with water as the acids may harm paint and plant pot material. Protect any damaged plant pots with applicable weatherproof coatings.

8

Fire Protection: Avoid placing plants pots near fire or high-temperature sources to prevent damage. Corten steel, steel, or painted aluminum garden plants are beautiful and effective when maintained properly. Proper plant care, avoiding overwatering and fertilizing will keep you plant pots looking great for years.
